Flickr Mashup Trading Card
Here is a card I created of a pretty "cute" kid using the Flickr Trading Card Maker.
This was a lot of fun and there are so many interesting "Mashups" out there.
I also had great fun checking out the photo mosiacs. Especially Jim Bumgardner's "Squared Circle/Flickr" http://www.krazydad.com/squaredcircle/

"7 1/2 lifelong learning habits"
The hardest habit for me would be #6 "Using technology to your advantage." This whole blog thing is new and uncharted territory and it seems like technology is always evolving. It makes it hard to keep current sometimes. So, I'm really looking forward to this self tutorial through some of the new stuff that's out there.
The easiest habit for me would be #3 "love solving challenges or problems." I have always loved a challenge and the feeling of achievement when a goal is reached. Life just wouldn't be very interesting without a few roadblocks to navigate around every now and then!

book review: My Swordhand Is Singing
Here's a mini-review that a friend wrote:
I just finished a pretty cool book, My Swordhand Is Singing. Though aimed at the young adult crowd (grades 7-12), this dark tale by Marcus Sedgwick is a great (and quick) read for anyone that likes creepy fantasy. Sedgwick bases this tale on eastern European vampire folk-lore: but these aren't your trite, skulking behind a cape, "I vill drrrink your blüd", turn into a bat, Hollywood vampires! I give it a rating of: two fangs up!
